*Planned Activities/Adult Led
This section of the day is where a child’s individual needs can be addressed. Some of the activities are planned in advance (perhaps around the topic of the term) then individual next steps can be identified (this is also possible with unplanned activities). This is also the space in the day to carry out activity to children who require specific adult led activities (those with an IEP/EYPP etc).
The ways we learn through play
Our weekly schedule aims to keep your child stimulated, engaged, having fun and safe and includes:
Outdoors
Children are encouraged to spend most of the day on Mondays outside. Forest school type activities are offered to the children.
Spanish
The children can learn Spanish on Tuesdays with Kid’s Lingo multi-award-winning language programme
Dancing
A visiting play leader from Diddi Dance comes on Thursday mornings, keeping the children engaged and happy.
PE
Plymouth Argyle community Trust coaches lead children in physical development every Friday.
